Optocom
Technology is a joint venture company founded in 1997 by France
Thomson-CSF (now Thales), China Institute of Micro-system & Information
Technology and U.S. PACH Co.
The company’s mission is to design,
manufacture and sell large quantity of highly reliable and cost effective
emitters and receivers licensed by Thomson for communication use.
 The
main activities at Optocom are Circuitry designing, laser mounting, Die bonding,
Wire bonding, Fiber optic coupling, Lensed fiber, Chips cleaving, Seam sealing,
LD & receiver characterization, leak tests, Thermal shocks, Sub-carrier and
Module burn-in.
Optocom is ISO-9001 certificated.
